ASCIA signs with Falck Renewables to complete the acquisition of 10 MW Wind Project in Castilla y León

Today ASCIA Renovables S.L. signed the sale and financial closing commitments of the wind farm Carrecastro 10 MW, property of Energía Eólica de Castilla S.L. (EEC) with Falck Renewables, as announced on July 25, 2018.

EEC (100% ASCIA Renovables, S.L.) owns a wind power plant, located in the Spanish region of Castilla y León, which consists of 4 turbines, for a total capacity of 10 MW and an expected production of 33 GWh per year.

The acquisition of the shares for a total price of approximately 1.2 million euros will be paid in several installments. A shareholder agreement was also signed today to allow the control of EEC by Falck Renewables.

The construction of the wind farm is expected to begin in December 2018 and the commercial operation date will occur in the last quarter of 2019. ASCIA will provide project management and construction management services, as well as support after the operation of the wind farm.
